Take I-81 to exit 118.
460 West, all the way to Grundy
(It is 145 more miles, 3 more hours, a long way!)
After about 112 miles,
33 miles before Grundy in Claypool Hill, At traffic light,
*** YOU HAVE TO MAKE A HARD RIGHT TO STAY ON 460. ***
There is just a little sign and a waffle place.
The highway continues straight ahead to never-never land, now Rt 19.
460 eventually goes down a long hill into Grundy
At the traffic light, with rock cliff in front of you,
460 goes to the left - but
Turn right onto Route 83.
Travel about .9 of a mile.
Administration building is on the right.
Go left through the campus entrance
to the top of the hill
and Hurley Hall is on your left...

Alternate:
I-81 South.
I-77 North.
On I-77 North there are two tunnels.
Before entering the second tunnel,
make sure you are in the right lane.
Immediately upon exiting the second tunnel,
you will need to take the first right (Exit 1).

That will bring you to 52 North.
52 North brings you to 460 West
(making a left at the traffic light in
Bluefield, West Virginia to bring you to 460 West).

460 West takes a right turn at Claypool Hill, VA.
The turn is directly after you pass the McDonald's gas station.
You must be in the right lane and yield right before the stop light.
Many people miss this turn...please watch for it.
At Claypool Hill, between 40 minutes to an hour to go.

Continue on 460 West until you come to Grundy, VA.
460 West becomes a one way street through town.
In Grundy, you will turn right on Route 83 East at the first traffic light.
Mountain Mission School is .8 or .9 miles from the traffic light.
It is on the left side of the road.
The administration office is on the right side of route 83.
